DAVID Beckham tenderly placed a hand on pregnant Posh's baby bump as they waited for the wedding to begin.

The couple — expecting their fourth child this summer — drew shrieks of excitement as they arrived at Westminster Abbey.

Designer Victoria, 37, wore a blue dress from her own collection, while 35-year-old England soccer legend Becks sported a Ralph Lauren morning suit with his hair slicked back and parted to one side — and his OBE pinned to a lapel.

The pair later described the ceremony as "beautiful and heartfelt" and said they felt "honoured" to be there.

But Posh came close to walking OUT of the service — telling another guest she felt unwell.

Becks had recalled the groom's late mum Princess Diana a day before the wedding. He said: "William's a great guy, his mum would have been proud."
